Brazilian poster boy Neymar Jr. launched his new comic book “Neymar Jr.” to the media on Thursday alongside famous Brazilian cartoonist Mauricio de Sousa, with whom he partnered with to create the book.
Following in the footsteps of fellow Brazilian superstar Pele, Ronaldo and Ronaldinho the 21 year old Santos striker becomes the latest footballer to be featured by the Brazilian Cartoonist and may be the most difficult character to create as described by the cartoonist.
The new comic book is expected to become a hot commodity in Brazil and overseas with the first edition “A boy of talent” hitting the newsstands this month.
Neymar played the character of a young boy as depicted in the image above with his signature Mohawk hair style. The series will also include Neymar real-life family and close friends as featured characters.
